Online Application Procedure for JCECE 2014
The Application Procedure for JCECE 2014 is online and only though its website jceceboard.org. No other means/mode of submission of application will be accepted under any circumstances. No manual/paper application will be entertained. Entries in the application form shall be required to be filled only in English.
The Cost of Application form and Information Brochure is Rs 550 (Rs 275 for SS/ST) for PCM/PCB Candidates. For PCMB Candidates, the cost is Rs 600 (300 for SC/ST). The Payment can be made online or deposited through Challans payable at any branch of Bank of India.

The applicant must be a citizen of India and Permanent or Local resident of Jharkhand. A candidate will have to submit/show Permanent or Local Resident certificate in proper format in ORIGINAL at the time of counselling.
Engineering – The candidate must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry subject AND has obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate
belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
B.Sc. Agriculture & B.Sc. Forestry – The candidate must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry along with Mathematics or Biology
BHMS – The candidate must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry along with Biology.
The Online application form involves the following process: Registration/Login Personal details, Uploading of images, Selection of test centres Payment,online payment of registration fee.
Print Confirmation Page and carefully retain it for future reference. You are not required to courier it or email it.

FAQ on Online Application
1. Are the details I filled in before generation of Application ID saved?
No, details are saved only after generation of application ID. If you exit before the Application ID is being generated, then you will have to start afresh.
2: What happens if my computer switches off while I am filling my Application?
If you logout or your connection is interrupted at any stage while in process of filling the online application form, Re-login with your Application ID and Password to complete the form.
3: Do I have to fill the whole Application in one stroke?
No, once the Application ID is generated, it is up to you to fill the whole application in one stroke or logout, and then again return to the Application form at your convenience before the Last Date of Submission of Application, using your Application ID and Password.
4: What do I do if I have Submitted wrong details by mistake?
You cannot alter submitted details in any Application after clicking the SUBMIT button. Once you have completed and clicked on SUBMIT button, you will have to fill up a fresh Application with correct details. You need not deposit Application Fee for the incomplete/incorrect Application. But if you have deposited the Application Fee incomplete/incorrect application form then, you will have to deposit the Application Fee again for the correct Application. No Application can be accepted unless the Application Fee has been deposited with reference to that Application.
5: What is the significance of Application number?
The Application number is a unique number to identify your application. Hence the same to be quoted in all your future correspondence with JCECEB.
6: I am a current year student, appeared for the +2 qualifying exam and awaiting result. Can I apply?
Yes, you can apply for the examination but, at the time of counselling, you have to submit the passing certificate of class 12th.
7: How do I pay my exam fees?
For depositing the examination fee candidate has to fill in the online application form and submit it through the online registration portal. On successful registration candidate will be allowed either to pay ONLINE or through e-Challan. At the payment stage, if your choice is Challan, then take the printout of the e-Challan and deposit the requisite examination fee in any branch of Bank of India. Re-login to application and fill the required information for the Challan based payment.
8: In case I have made a mistake in filling in my Date of Birth or education qualification, or any other details, can it be corrected?
If you have detected the mistakes before clicking the save button you can make the changes using the edit option. Once you submit the application online you cannot change any of the information. So before you click submit button, please check and re check the information already furnished by you.
